THE SUSTAINABILITY JOURNEY

We understand that sustainability is something that is evolving and improving over time and where most important is the well being of our planet and our people. We are constantly learning and moving towards better choices to help us carry the true inspiration that we strive to create.

  • We use natural, organic or deadstock fabrics that last beyond seasons. We have chosen to use natural fibers in our collections (eg. wool and silk). It means that if and when these garments end up in landfill they will biodegrade much faster than a garment made with synthetic fibers.

  • We are limiting the amount of countries each garment has traveled to, ensuring we minimize our carbon footprint. Everything is cut, tailored, packaged locally.

  • We don’t produce large quantities in advance but rather produce by demand. We hold dear an idea that a Human Highness piece is made just for you. We hold a one product stock of the pieces that we present under our web-shop.

  • We dreamed to create a brand that reflects a slower pace and artistic process: where things are made with care and detail, where intention is more important than trend, where there is a meaning to every piece.

  • Working close with Estonian based craftswomen, incorporating traditional tailoring methods to create high-quality garments with a purpose to support women led businesses.

  • Wastage is an issue at all stages of a garments life span and we do what we can to reduce waste at our point in the process. We work very hard to keep our cutting as tight as possible, not only to ensure we reduce our footprint but to also minimize productions costs that will reflect in the end price.
